35 SUMMERS
REALLY DOWN
LIVE DATES
Older, but no wiser, 35 Summers are back. Formed in 1990 and signed to Planet Records for the release of their debut single, a dance-infused version of Come Together, the band went on to record two John Peel sessions before signing to RCA and releasing two further singles. Tours with Northside and EMF, plus several headline tours followed, before the band disintegrated shortly before the planned release of the single that never was - Sheep.
The band were known for their T-shirts as much as their music, from the 'Shankly' as worn by John Peel and the Farm's Peter Hooton, to the 'Rigsby' which sparked a legal row resulting in the shirt being withdrawn.
Re-formed, but not reformed, the Summers are back for a one-off live date.
